Thank you to the following leaders in the arts community and artists who took the time at the very earliest stage of the project to read about and encourage the development of IGAN from an idea to a new and early stage organization.

• Research Consultant for Refire Glass (commercial waste stream recycling project), Sydney, Australia.

He is a renowned glass artist. His work is in collections and museums from China to Washington State.

Will is one of the key managers (former attorney) involved in all arts events in Northern Arnhem Land. He has organized major shows for local indigenous artists over many years.

The Museum hosted the first exhibition, LINKS, a comprehensive collection of work by Australian Artists. The museum has invited numerous indigenous glass artists to work in the Hot Shop.

The School is recognized as having one of the most outstanding teaching programs. Pilchuck has already connected with indigenous artists through their residency program.

This organization has expressed interest in this project and has expressed preliminary support for the concept of Aboriginal/Indigenous artists participating in courses there. More research needs to be done to identify where courses could be offered on a, “explore glass art as a new direction” for indigenous artists.

Vicki is an independent curator, with a distinguished career, and has worked with the Museum of Glass for over 4-years to bring the Links exhibit to Seattle

This gallery which has a distinguished history in the Studio Glass art field, has been very helpful as we explore what is possible at the beginning of this project. Traver Gallery has maintained and earned the trust of the founders of the Glass Art movement in Seattle.
