EDUCATIONAL
FACILITIES
IGAN supports and seeks to build relationships with Educational Facilities, Schools and Art Centres which have programs that focus on glass art.
- With a primary focus on glass art;
- Offering programs where glass art is part of the curriculum;
- “Glass factories” where students can do “hands on” work;
- Where undergraduate and advanced degrees in Glass Art are offered.
- Schools seeking students can reach a broader, new audience.
- Scholarship programs, special events, or awards can be announced.
- IGAN will be a valuable resource for soliciting candidates to apply for scholarships and attracting attendees and registrants for events.
- Specific symposia can be announced to IGAN subscribers (through posts and soliciting subscribers to join the institution’s mailing list) to attract attendees and registrants.
- IGAN can support the mission outlined by governmental institutions to provide career opportunities. In Australia, for example, governmental policies support educational opportunities for Aboriginal peoples.
- Schools seeking faculty from outside their region can announce openings globally.
- Fund-raising and membership objectives, for schools and other educational facilities aligned with IGAN, can be met by soliciting IGAN’s members to subscribe and join their mailing list.
