ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Canberra Glassworks is seeking an Assistant Director to assist the Artistic Director with the planning and delivery of the Canberra Glassworks artistic programs according to Artistic Director’s vision.
They will assist with exhibition planning, management and production and the selection and scheduling of artists for residency programs and professional workshops. They will assist the Artistic Director to oversee artistic staff and contribute to the development and delivery of the Technical/Facilities, Artist Access, Education and Public programs. They will also assist by recommending artists for commissions and developing Canberra Glassworks production opportunities for artists.
Part time: 24 hours per week (3 days)
Start date: January 2015
Term: 12 months (with 12 month option)
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
